Raised in Central Texas, I’ve always valued simple, honest ingredients — the kind that work without excess. As a working mom searching for better options for my teens’ skin, I began exploring tallow-based skincare rooted in time-honored practices. What started as a personal solution quickly became a deeper commitment.
At the heart of Bare Bait is grass-fed beef tallow, hand-rendered from suet sourced from a local Texas butcher. Each batch is carefully cleaned and rendered without chemicals, bleach, or deodorizers — preserving the integrity of the ingredient and the nourishment it provides.
Tallow has been trusted for generations for its natural compatibility with the skin. Rich in skin-supporting lipids, it helps replenish and reinforce the barrier in a way that feels both grounding and refined.
